Solo traveler with some comforts

Check in was smooth and the staff were friendly like they actually cared, which is rare these days. The shower had good water pressure I mean I like a powerful shower, it really helps after a long day.

It wasn't cheap but for what it offered, still got by.

The location was convenient for our travel plans.

I had a frustrating experience during my stay. The manager was unhelpful when my family requested a room for their Emotional Support Animal, despite it being allowed per the hotel policy online. This lack of understanding during a sensitive time was incredibly disappointing, especially given we were in town for a funeral.

However, the guest room had not seen updates in years, and the mattress was uncomfortably worn with a significant dip. The bathtub lacked safety features, and bug issues were concerning, making the stay less enjoyable overall.

It was just a perfect match for a city escape in Mount Carmel with good price-value balance. The room was super clean, making it a pleasant surprise for a budget hotel. If you're traveling with luggage, be prepared for stairs as there's no elevator.
